May Lane

NEUTRAL BAY  NSW • EORA

The brief for the project was to convert the existing three storey office block (ground floor parking with two levels of commercial tenancy over) in to a mixed use development with ground floor parking, two commercial tenancies and two three bedroom residential apartments.

The new development maximised the views to the harbour and city, took on a form and finish to set it apart from surrounding developments and provide an inspiring and refreshing sanctuary for the occupants from the busy urban context.

To keep the occupants connected to the site, and with a nod to the local street art, we commissioned artist Shun Clarke to create a 12m high mural that runs 4 stories up the lift shaft. The back wall of the lift car is entirely glass.
